SPACE, THE FINAL FRONTERE…
…A presentation that gave us the pitch and described adequately the space adventure of this television series.
STAR TREK, the original series and my favorite, that have been innovative in the sense that it was the first “optimistic” science-fiction series not only predicting a future for the Earth and its inhabitants, but a future radiating with liberty and a total unison of the planet while conserving the ethnical heritage of each country.
STAR TREK, a free and united Earth with a science and technology advanced enough to explore far away galaxies while preserving an extreme respect for Religion … nothing less than perfection! J
STAR TREK, the one that ended the motion pictures allegations of the “big bad extra-terrestrials”, without idealizing them thanks mostly to the well known figure of Mr. Spock and to a string of extra galactic inhabitants.
The 40 YEARS they have celebrated on September the 8th 2006 shows well that STAR TREK will have lasted much longer that the 3 seasons they were allowed: from September the 8th 1966 to June the 3rd 1968.
I already bought the complete series, which I consider as being an excellent investment in entertainment.
I gladly give it five stars. ééééé
